Storyline: Adolescent celebrity Saoirse Ronan performs the edgy US adolescent Daisy who is delivered by her uncaring father to stay along with her nation bumpkin relatives in UK.  At first, she is impressive and aloof however is soon won over by their decrepit appeal – particularly that of the brooding oldest son Edmond, performed by George Mackay.  The background to the present sunkissed coming-of-age summer time is a future war.  What I actually like is that because these kids are in the nation, instead of in some expansive town, we are not seeing those conventional photographs of enemy tanks in London. Rather, we are seeing martial artist airplanes fly over go and young kids say, “wow, that is cool” before functioning off to a have eat outside. Once the war comes, the nearby topsy-turviness permits Flower and Edmond to have a taboo joining and to make, in their egotistic adolescent fear, to make their way returning to the village if they're divided up, that generally they soon are.  What then follows is a kind of street film through wartorn UK, wherever we tend to see the traditional, rather sluggish photographs of vehicles upturned on freeways, and soldiers rounding up citizens.  There are clues at how the terrorists have presented UK to its legs – and clearly a lot of European countries too – by damaging the drinking standard water, as an example.
